Hope believes he should stay with her and Liam because Douglas lived with them for a long time. While finding solace in Brooke, Bill gives her a friendly kiss just as Ridge arrives on the scene. He believes it was innocent. He also says Deacon and Bill are like cockroaches: they always return. Sheila continues to create problems for Deacon. Thomas seeks Carter's legal advice. Carter says a custody suit could be messy and it would pit the Foresters against the Logans. Steffy plots to destroy Ridge and Brooke's marriage and reunite Taylor and Ridge.
