DEAR STACY: The actor who played press secretary Tony Scaramucci on Comedy Central's "President Show" is hysterically funny. I know I've seen him before. Can you give some information? — S.R., Westlake Village, California

DEAR S.R.: You're talking about Mario Cantone, who might be familiar to you as wedding planner Anthony Marentino on "Sex and the City" or from his appearances on "Chappelle's Show" or on "The View." Massachusetts native Cantone is also a Broadway veteran ("Love! Valour! Compassion!" and "The Tempest"), and has done considerable work as a stand-up, often with campy impressions of celebrities like Liza Minnelli and Bruce Springsteen. His husband since 2011 (and partner for 20 years prior to that) is musical theater director Jerry Dixon.

DEAR STACY: I remember Barbara Bain and the late Martin Landau as one of the most beautiful and glamorous of Hollywood couples, back in their "Mission: Impossible" days. With his recent death, I wonder how she is doing? Is she still acting? Did she ever remarry after their divorce? — Karen G., Albuquerque, New Mexico

DEAR KAREN: Bain, 85, does indeed still act. She was on an episode of CBS's "Code Black" last year, for example. Her star was installed on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2016 as well. The triple Emmy-winning former dancer and model, who has two adult daughters from her 36-year-marriage to Landau, did not remarry after their 1993 divorce. In addition to her very long list of acting credits, Bain has been involved in a number of charitable causes, including literacy for underprivileged children. She would often go read stories to groups of kids hoping to invest them with a love of reading.

DEAR STACY: When is "Saturday Night Live" coming back? — Asking for a Friend, North Carolina

DEAR ASKING: The date has yet to be announced, but tradition dictates it will either be the last Saturday in September, which would be the 30th. Or the first Saturday in October, which would be the 7th.

DEAR STACY: Tiffani Thiessen on a cooking show? Since when is she about cooking? She'll always be Kelly Kapowski on "Saved by the Bell" to me. — Laurie-home1

DEAR Laurie-home1: Well, where've you been? The 1990's TV dream girl cum "White Collar" actress has been doing her "Dinner at Tiffani's" show for The Cooking Channel since 2015. She's also appeared on The Food Network. She loves the foodie world and also the mommie world. With husband (since 2005) Brady Smith, she has daughter Harper (born in 2010) and son Holt (2015).
