DEAR STACY: When will Jon Stewart return to TV in a regular capacity? — RaeLynn77

DEAR RaeLynn77: That's impossible to predict at this time. The former "The Daily Show" star had planned to be back by now with an HBO program of daily digital short pieces, but the processes of animation proved too much for his and the network's hopes for topicality and the project was scratched last month. He still has a deal with HBO for traditional movies and series, and has other prospects in development.

DEAR STACY: Can you please tell me what Lisa Kudrow is doing? — Chris B., Boca Raton, Florida

DEAR CHRIS: You mean, besides her "Web Therapy" series on Showtime and her HBO "The Comeback" series, which recently came back after a nine-year wait? She also has the TLC series she executive produces, "Who Do You Think You Are?" And the prolific Kudrow, with her creative partner, Dan Bucatinsky, have a short-form series pilot in the works for platforms like Snapchat and Instagram. It's called "Campus Catwalk" and is about a coed at a red-state college who is a fish out of water, being an undocumented immigrant with a blue-state mindset. Kudrow, the former Phoebe Buffay of "Friends," also is a voice talent in this year's "The Boss Baby" — and will likely be aboard for "Boss Baby 2," now in the works. But that "Friends" reunion that recently caused an internet flutter is fake news.

DEAR STACY: I enjoy seeing Hilary Duff in "Younger" on TV Land. Wonder what her sister Haylie is doing nowadays? Also, when is "Younger" coming back? — Savannah R., Austin, Texas

DEAR SAVANNAH: "Younger" is due to return to TV Land June 28. Meanwhile, Haylie has been busy with the launch of her Little Moon Society children's clothing line with business partner Jessica Frank. They have very cute, made-in-America clothes with a lot of mix and match capability allowing little ones to be all dressed up one day and sporty the next. Haylie's own 2-year-old daughter, Ryan, is a primary model for the line — another generation of cute Duffs in the spotlight. Foodie Haylie also continues her "Real Girl's Kitchen" show on the Cooking Channel, drawn from her popular cookbook and blog. On the acting side, she has the movie "Hacker" in online release.

DEAR STACY: Whatever became of the actor who played Biff in the "Back the Future" movies? — Neal N., Canton, Ohio

DEAR NEAL: Though his many, varied other roles may not be as indelible as bully Biff Tannen, actor and comedian Tom Wilson works all the time. He's guested on numerous shows, and appeared as a recurring character on "Ed," "Freaks and Geeks," "Titus" and "Fired Up," to name a few. He was in the cable flick, "The Last Ride," and does voice work in features and TV shows such as the "Spongebob Squarepants" movie. Wilson's also a lover of the stage, and his theatrical outings range from Richard III to a one-man show called "Cowboy Tommy." Multitalented, he is a painter and recording artist as well.
