His condition was compromised as his COVID was exasperated by cancer and Parkinson's Disease. He served as secretary of state under three republican regimes. He considered himself a military man. He often said it is always best to negotiate.

Soaps appear to be back. Stations were swamped with "Where is my soap?" calls. Not to worry; Friday's episodes will air on Monday.

"THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL": Horrified that he hugged Donna To get his sexual grove back, Quinn insists Eric fire Donna. Donna is heartbroken when Eric gives her the pink slip; he explains it is the only way his marriage to Quinn can survive. Carter and Katie think they could be more than friends. Desperate to have her father in her life, Hope begs Brooke to let her spend time with Deacon. Brooke tells Hope she thrilled she is in her life, but sleeping with Deacon was the worst mistake of her life. Hope is crushed when Liam says he will not welcome Deacon into his home or near their children. Sheila continues to press Deacon to help her connect with her son, Finn.

She also tells Tessa she should have the baby because she gave birth to him. Nick tells Victoria he is sorry he tried to stop her from marrying Ashton; she is not sure she can forgive. Hearing of a miracle cure, Ashland and Victoria head for Peru. Sally and Adam continue to flirt. Adam says he is anxious for Chelsea to return so he can end things with her. Sharon takes out a photo of her daughter, Cassie, who died in a drunk driving accident years ago. Rey helps Sharon deal with her pain. Phyllis and Nick call it quits.

Liz tells Carly to go after Nina and let everyone believe Sonny was dead. Alexis gets a prison pardon. Without a career and with a drinking problem, Alexis fears life outside, Drew takes off, learning the Novack family was involved in Casey's abduction. Sonny has Joey beaten to a pulp. A terrified Joey turns the family business over to Sonny. Liesel warns Britt not to lose Jason; they are meant for each other. Robert cannot stop Anna from caring about each other. As Valentin recovers from his gunshot wounds, Anna has a vision and they call each other "darling." Trina calls Spencer a loser who she has no time for. Esme has a connection to Ryan. Joss and Cam question being virgins. Austin tells Maxie all he cares about is being a good doctor.
