She's back. Genie Francis (Laura, "General Hospital") is headed to Port Charles. Last year, the iconic actress was let go without any warning. Francis, who really grew up on the show, was very kind to the show's producers and to ABC. She wanted outraged fans to know there were no hard feelings. Now those fans can rejoice. Says Francis

"I'm headed to Maine for the next month and then, after that, I'm back at 'General Hospital,'" Francis tells TV Insider. "I'm looking forward to coming home and I am really excited about this new invigorating storyline they have for Laura — I look forward to the next chapter of this prolific and historic character."

Honestly, folks, I do not care about Phyllis and Billy's love story on The Young and the Restless. I am not interested in Summer and Kyle. And Sharon and Nick — sorry, big yawn. There is one thing on that show that I do care about: Who was driving the truck Lily crashed into that ended the life of Hilary and her baby? Since the show has yet to say, I decided to do a bit of soap sleuthing. There are several MIA Genoa City folks who may have been driving the 18-wheeler. Paul. Lord knows it appears that the Genoa City police department has shut down. In need of a job after 50, Paul has been attending truck-driving school and was on his first solo run when Lily crashed the light. What about Paul's son Dylan? Since he is in the witness protection program he could be anywhere. Then there's Scott. He was driving because he is working on an undercover story about truck drivers who are forced to work too many hours. And Ian Ward loves to blackmail. He could target the Winters family to pay him to keep quiet about Lily. Maybe Katherine's son Brock; when mom left her fortune to Devon, he needed a job. With no one talking to or seeing Michael and Lauren, they decided to pull a Bonnie and Clyde and go on a stealing and killing spree. Marco — Jack's lookalike. If you think it cannot be him because he is dead, you clearly know nothing about soap operas. Then there's Eve, the woman in Victor's life, who Victor placed in a garment bag, put her on an airport luggage wrap and forgot all about her. Eve is not one to forget Victor's evil deeds and has been in Paris, just waiting for the perfect time to get even with him. With Victor's health issues, she decided now was the time. She was driving a truck to steal all of Newman's products while Victor is recovering from his stroke. Or maybe Niki's sister Casey. She lost her medical license and was desperate to get a ride home. So, she hijacked a truck. Sister's Drucilla and Livie hired Malcolm to sneak into town to see if they can get any of Devon's billions. And finally, Adam. Returning to town to be with Chelsea and Connor, Adam planned to ride in and drive them to wherever he has been hiding. When he realized they were gone he swerved into Lily's Lane, wanting to end it all. There are so many people who could have done this. Whoever it was, please do not continue the suspense... It is "driving" me crazy!
