They are young and restless and back — one from the dead, the other from Europe. Jack's thought-to-be-dead wife is alive. Diane Jenkins, Kyle's mother, played by Susan Wolters, will return shortly. Kyle (Michael Mealor), who is in Europe, returns to Genoa City. According to Soap Digest, Mealor and "The Young and the Restless" worked out their contract issues. He has been signed to a long-term deal.

Jennifer Hudson is taking over for Ellen DeGeneres. Unlike Ellen she does not pretend to be nice she is. She is also sassy, fun, smart and boy she can sing.

After five months on the air, "The Nick Cannon Show" has been canceled. The show never found its audience. Cannon says being canceled is part of the business. During his tenure, he made an antisemitic comment, which he apologized for. He also talked about his three baby mamas. He also shared his pain after his infant son died.

I love this Dr. Phil mantra: "Would you rather be right or be happy?" I always choose happy. However, the doctor is making me very unhappy. The Turn-About Ranch, which deals with troubled teens, has been accused of neglect, corporal punishment and alleged death. When he was asked about the ranch, he said, "I never check up on the programs. I send the teens to it. After that, I am done." Now, I am done with Dr, Phil. How cavalier, uncaring and callous.

"This Is Us" is winding down. Just a brilliant show. Milo Ventimiglia, who plays Jack, everyone's favorite TV dad, has signed up for a very unlike-Jack character on ABC. In real life, the actor is a lot like Jack. In an interview for show before, "This Is Us," he said he felt a happy, calm set was the best for a show to work. He said it was up to the main actors to make sure that is what the set is like.

Let the nasty emails begin. I really despise Kate of on that show. She is needy, clingy and selfish.

I loved "New Amsterdam." It is in its last year. I am glad; this season has been horrible, from the move to London, Max no longer caring about anyone about himself and Helen. I love Ryan Eggold, who plays Max. I hope he gets another show.

After 31 years, Maury Povich will stop asking, "Who is your daddy?" Before he hosted the paternity show, his shows dealt with news and groundbreaking stories. At 83, he said it is time to sign off. He will miss the crew. His wife of over 25 years, newscaster Connie Chug, agrees. I knew Maury when I was a regular guest on his talk show from Philly. We did not talk about who is your daddy. We knew it was not me. I did not even have to take a paternity test. As a host, he was funny, caring and did his homework. Only one semi-odd quirk: Before showtime, he never wore a shirt.

Sean Kanan, Deacon on "The Bold and the Beautiful," will be at the annual "Oneness" festival in New Castle, Pennsylvania, on April 10. He'll be speaking and meeting and greeting fans. Please give him some love from me if you are lucky enough to go.
