Michael E. Knight, formerly Tad on "All My Children" and now Martin on "General Hospital," has opened up about his long-standing struggles with mental health issues: "When I was on AMC I dealt with depression, anxiety and OCD. The OCD was the worst. I kept playing things over in my mind. I could not sleep, eat, lost 20 pounds. My wife at the time, Catherine Hickland, insisted I get help. She would find me standing in the shower, unable to move. For years I was fine. Then COVID hit and it returned."

A father and son "General Hospital" crew members have quit "General Hospital" because they have been ordered to have COVID vaccines. Lots of luck suing deep-pocket Disney. Ingo Rademacher (Jax) was let go because he refused the treatment. Ditto Steve Burton (Jason).

"The Bold and the Beautiful's" Scott Clifton (Liam) and his wife of nine years have separated. They have a son, Ford. Clifton told Soap Digest they separated a while ago. He asked his privacy be respected as they try working on the marriage. Clifton is the real deal — great actor, great person and a loved cast member. His posts, Clifton Notes, are insightful. And movie-loving Dylan was a gem and held his own with Jane Elliott, who played his mom, Tracy. Elliott is returning to the show for its 50th anniversary. She will have a long-term story arc.

Next week, "General Hospital" will be honoring Sonya Eddy (Epiphany), who recently died following a cosmetic procedure. Derek Chetwood, who played Milo, will return for the memorial. The actor said she was as beautiful as her singing voice. It was a soaring, beautiful voice. The character of Epiphany said it like it was to doctors, nurses, patients. It was her way or the highway. Cheetwood said in real life she was a gentle soul.

Melissa Claire Egan (Chelsea on "The Young and the Restless") and her husband are expecting their second child.
