"THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL": Deacon's attempt to stop Brooke and Sheila's cat fight fails. Deacon is thrilled he got to spend time with Hope and the kids. Sheila thanks Taylor for getting her a chance to spend the holiday with Hope and the kids. Zende plans to propose to Paris on New Year's Eve. Zende is unaware that Paris wants to put the brakes on their relationship. Brooke understands that business will keep Ridge away for New Year's Eve and plans a quiet evening alone. Sheila has other plans. She is going to make certain Brooke breaks her sobriety. Deacon tells Sheila he will not help in her plan to break up Brooke and Ridge.

"THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS": Victoria realizes Billy is pretending to fall off the wagon. She agrees to keep his secret if he agrees she will not stop his plan to take over the company. When he suggests Victor will not like her scheme, she retorts she does not care; her father will get over it. When Tessa and Mariah tell Sharon they are unhappy living in the hotel, Sharon suggests they take the room upstairs. They happily accept and reveal they plan to start a family. After talking to Nate, Devon realizes he wants to spend more time with baby Dominic. The schedule he wants is akin to shared custody. Abby and Chance agree to consider the plan. Back home, Chelsea tells Adam she does not want to reconcile. She is back home to start life anew. She tells Chloe she thinks Sally is a great designer but Chloe needs to let Sally know Chelsea is the head designer. Mariah tells Noah he is a great graphic designer but too arrogant. At loose ends for New Year's, Sally and Adam decide to spend the holiday together. Jack heads to Italy to spend time with Summer and Kyle. Nick tells Phyllis he is fine spending the holiday alone.

Overcoming Kristen's temptation, Eric joins the family together to perform an exorcism on Marlena. Marlena calls out for John. She thanks her family for standing by her. Belle finds it hard to believe that Shawn slept with Jan thinking she was Belle. Allie assures Tripp he is the love of her life. Xander tells Gwen he can only be with her by finding out where Sarah is. Maggie is concerned when she calls Sarah and receives a "no longer available" message. Ned tells Brooklyn his poor parenting is responsible for her poor life choices. Michael sucker-punches Scott. Laura tells Spencer he must pay for his illegal doings. Esme tells Spencer she will be waiting for him when he gets out of jail. A professor suggests to Alexis she should teach law. Anna tells Finn she is not sure what to do about her love life. Chase loves being a dad.
