Last Day of a Retrograde

The last day of Mercury retrograde challenges us to accept ourselves and others. Tolerance reduces conflict, promotes respect and fosters a spirit of curiosity instead of condemnation. "What is tolerance? It is the consequence of humanity. We are all formed of frailty and error; let us pardon reciprocally each other's folly — that is the first law of nature." — Voltaire

ARIES (March 21-April 19). You'll use your time differently than the people around you. Your current focus comes with a higher intensity level and a sense of urgency. You notice when you could be doing something more in line with your goals.

TAURUS (April 20-May 20). Even though everyone knows that social media projects false images, the sense that everyone is having fun without you is still the lie everyone believes. For the truth, leave screenland and see people in person.

GEMINI (May 21-June 21). Confidence is simply trust. What can you trust yourself to do? No outcome is completely within your influence. If you trust yourself to do your best, roll with what happens and love yourself no matter what, this is confidence.

CANCER (June 22-July 22). There's someone you find hard to understand, but you'll still ask clarifying questions, listen and acknowledge their feelings. You can't see the world as they do, but your imagination will get you as close as possible.

LEO (July 23-Aug. 22). You've seen people become successful then fall out of touch. You find hubris so embarrassing to watch that every time you win, you temper the gain with an act of service to keep yourself humble and connected.

VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22). One of your favorite and most effective ways to demonstrate leadership is to lead yourself. Today's discipline will include tidying up and streamlining your environment with an eye to logic and efficiency.

LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 23). You're a critical thinker, but you're careful to communicate in an unfailingly constructive and supportive way, and even then, only when asked. People rarely follow the advice they asked for, and unsolicited advice goes straight to the mental trash bin.

SCORPIO (Oct. 24-Nov. 21). You'll start with a lofty aim and work backward to figure out what you need to do to get there. These high targets have a way of stimulating your creativity and encouraging you to think beyond your current limitations.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21). It's not always easy to stay cheerfully even-tempered with difficult people, but you consistently do it. If you slip, practice self-compassion. Take a break. Seek support. Get back on your own side.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19). You're gracious when admired, but don't always want to stand out. Today you'll press the mute button on your self-expression so others can shine. In whatever way you fit into the group, the vibe is better because you're there.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18). You won't have to come up with solutions for the problems you avoid completely. Create your own safety zone. Keep a certain distance from those who seem rushed, agitated or more needy than you are prepared to handle.

PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20). Not every dance must be learned. Often the moves are a natural extension of breathing. Don't get too into your head. Trust that part of yourself that doesn't think in words or numbers but moves with the pulse of life.

TODAY'S BIRTHDAY (May 13). You will experience idyllic moments and glimpse the utopia of your ideals. Because you're so excellent at choosing people, you often witness kindness, feel protected and understand how interconnected you are with others. More highlights: a brilliant re-organization, family growth and the thrill of a win that's important to many. Aries and Aquarius adore you. Your lucky numbers are: 2, 7, 16, 22 and 38.

CELEBRITY PROFILES: True to the down-to-earth nature of his sign, Robert Pattinson is known for being humble and has said in interviews that he doesn't take himself too seriously. Perhaps this has liberated him as an artist to take more risks and try different genres. The upcoming projects for Robert Pattinson are a mixed genre bag, from the crime of "The Batman II" to an Adam McKay comedy and a sci-fi adventure from Bong Joon-ho.
