In case you have been living under a rock, you know that music stars and fellow "The Voice" coaches Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton have confirmed their romance. Last week, we got to see the chemistry between the pop goddess and the country charmer for ourselves, live, on "The Voice." This comes after months of rumors and speculation about their relationship and the shedding of their respective spouses (Gavin Rossdale and Miranda Lambert) last summer.

With the media full of Stefani and Shelton's fellow coach Christina Aguilera announcing her support ("They deserve happiness") and morsels of information about Rossdale's purported dalliance with a nanny, we certainly wouldn't judge this mighty musical twosome.

But we will say, there's something about show business when it comes to bringing couples together as well as tearing couples apart. Here are 10 Hollywood hookups that involved some uncoupling as well.

Robert Herjavec and Kym Johnson, 2015.

"Dancing With the Stars": In March, "Shark Tank's" Robert Herjavec confirmed that he and his wife of 25 years, Diane Plese, were getting a divorce. Meanwhile, photos emerged of him and his "Dancing With the Stars" pro partner, Australian dancer Kym Johnson, on board his private jet. Herjavec was eliminated from the competition May 5, but as of November, their romance is still flying high.

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, 2004.

"Mr. and Mrs. Smith": Jolie and Pitt, then married to Jennifer Aniston, denied an on-set love affair, but their chemistry was combustible. In January 2005, Pitt split with Aniston. By spring, the couple was clearly together, sharing passions for world affairs and kids.

Richard Burton and Elizabeth Taylor, 1963

"Cleopatra": She was married to Eddie Fisher. He was married to Sybil Williams. "Scarlet woman" was one of the nicer pejoratives flung at Taylor as she and Burton openly flaunted their affair, while a Vatican newspaper accused her of "erotic vagrancy." Making a long scandal longer, the two lived together in sin until free to marry in 1965.

Meg Ryan and Russell Crowe, 2000

"Proof of Life": Ryan, then married to Dennis Quaid, fell from her pedestal as America's sweetheart when, GASP, it came out that she'd succumbed to Russell Crowe's bad-boy charms. The film flopped. The director blamed the scandal. Ryan's career was never the same. Ryan and Quaid divorced in 2001. Only the tabloids won.

LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian, 2009

"Northern Lights": Both the Country songstress cum actress and the steaming hot "Third Watch" actor were married to others when they starred opposite each other in this Lifetime adaptation of a Nora Roberts novel. Perhaps the romance writer deserves some credit or blame.

Robert Rodriguez and Rose Mcgowan, 2007

"Grindhouse": Fans were shocked when Rodriguez split with his wife, Elizabeth Avellan, after 16 years and five children. A statement was issued saying that the Rodriguezes had separated before "Grindhouse" production, but speculation flew about the McGowan affair's impact. McGowan has made some less than kind public remarks since they broke off their engagement in 2008.

Jude Law and Sienna Miller, 2003

"Alfie": After separating from wife Sadie Frost, Law wasted no time seeping young actress Sienna Miller off her feet. The couple moved in together and became engaged. However, plans unraveled a year later when it was revealed that Law cheated on Miller with, GASP, a nanny! They tried to rekindle the romance but failed.

Owen Wilson and Kate Hudson, 2006

"You, Me and Dupree": She was married to Chris Robinson. Just days after their split was announced, reports surfaced of her getting cozy with Wilson. The pair claimed things were platonic during filming, but that a romance blossomed while doing press. They broke up, got back together, broke up again.

Ali MacGraw and Steve McQueen, 1972

"The Getaway": Sam Peckinpah's "The Getaway" had it all: car chases, explosions, gunplay — and a big juicy affair between the "The King of Cool" and the hot "Love Story" leading lady, who was married to studio chieftain Robert Evans. MacGraw left Evans and wed McQueen in '73, but their ardor ran out of gas. They divorced in '78.

Ingrid Bergman and Roberto Rossellini, 1950

"Stromboli": Bergman fell for her director and became pregnant during production — and fell from Hollywood glory to being declared a "powerful influence for evil" and persona non grata by Congress. Forced into exile in Italy, she left her soon-to-be-ex-husband and daughter in the U.S. The Rossellinis wed in '50, divorced in '57.

Things were an awful lot more harsh back in the '50s.
