DEAR STACY: Daisy Ridley is my dream girl. Does she have a boyfriend? — O91Sky
DEAR 091Sky: In 2015 and 2016, the 25-year-old known as Rey in "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" was known to be dating British actor Charlie Hamblett. However, more recently she's kept a low profile regarding romantic interests (outside of being photographed holding hands with a mystery man). Maybe she's just too busy to spend much time on her personal life these days. Besides the demands of her "Star Wars" role, she is in the Nov. 10-debuting, Kenneth Branagh-directed version of Agatha Christie's "Murder on the Orient Express" — along with a gaggle of stars including Michelle Pfeiffer, Johnny Depp, Judi Dench, Marwan Kenzari, Penelope Cruz, Josh Gad and Derek Jacobi. Other films in the pipeline for the very busy actress: an adaptation of the young adult novel "Chaos Walking," a live action-animated telling of Beatrix Potter's "Peter Rabbit," J.J. Abrams' supernatural thriller "Kolma," the World War II era thriller "The Lost Wife," and a reimagining of "Hamlet" with Clive Owen and Naomi Watts.
DEAR STACY: Can you tell me what Steven R. McQueen will be doing next? — Clark N., Boise, Idaho
DEAR CLARK: My crystal ball is faulty right now, so I can only tell you the "Vampire Diaries" and "Chicago Fire" actor (and grandson of 1960s-70s box office king Steve McQueen) has yet to announce his next assignment. He has, however, made it clear that he wants to join the ranks of actors playing superheroes, and would love to be cast in the "Nightwing" movie being made by director Chris McKay of "Lego Movie" fame. So would a long list of other young stars. "Nightwing" is the grownup Robin, sidekick of Batman, in case you didn't know.
DEAR STACY: Please settle a trivial question. We know about Elvis' concert specials and musical appearances on TV. Did he ever act on the tube? — Mom23boyz
DEAR Mom23boyz: No.
DEAR STACY: J.T. Walsh was a good character actor. What happened to him? — Cynthia B., Huntington, West Virginia
DEAR CYNTHIA Walsh died of a heart attack at age 54 in 1998. His final two films — "Pleasantville" and "The Negotiator" — were dedicated to him.
