DEAR STACY: As someone who really enjoys Christian Slater as an actor, I feel kind of bad that his TV shows keep failing. A friend and I were wondering, with "Mind Games" now canceled, how many of these fails he's had in a row. Make independent movies, Christian! — Juliet L., Warren, Ohio
DEAR JULIET: "Mind Games" marks Slater's fourth cancellation in six years — including NBC's "My Own Worst Enemy," Fox's "Breaking In," and ABC's "The Forgotten." Ouch.
DEAR STACY: What is Tracey Ullman up to? She always makes me laugh. — Dianna M., San Dimas, Calif.
DEAR DIANNA: The seven-time Emmy winner appears headed back to the tube with a role in the CBS pilot "Good Session," in which she has been set to play a therapist. Her husband on the show: James Roday of "Psych."
DEAR STACY: Is Blake Lively related to Eric Lively, who was on "The L Word"? — Edith T., Cedar Rapids, Iowa
DEAR HALEY: Yes, Blake is the baby of an acting family that includes older brothers Eric ("American Pie," "The Butterfly Effect 2") and Jason, and big sisters Robyn and Lori. Her mother, Elaine, is an acting coach, and father Ernie is an actor and director. Ernie played Blake's dad in "Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants," and he and his children — plus Robyn's hubby, Bart Johnson (a.k.a. Zac Efron's dad in the "High School Musical" movies) — appear in the 2006 Crispin Glover horror movie, "Simon Says."
